Software for your handheld

Impatica Viewer
Use this software to load and view presentations on your Palm smartphone then project them with ShowMate. Release Notes (.pdf file)

• Install from your Windows computer:
  1. Download the Impatica Viewer application (ImpaticaViewer.prc);
  2. Connect your Palm smartphone to your Windows PC and launch the Palm Desktop. Within the Palm Desktop select the Quick Install option in the left-hand panel;
  3. Within the Quick Install dialog box, ensure the correct user is selected in the drop down menu on the top right;
  4. Drag the file ImpaticaViewer.prc to the Handheld section of the Quick Install dialog box;
  5. Click the HotSync button on the Palm USB cable to install the application.
• or
• Install OTA (over-the-air) from a Palm OS smartphone:
  1. Launch Palm Blazer Web Browser from the home menu;
  2. In the address field enter www.impatica.com/iv and select Go;
  3. Select the link for the prc file under the Palm OS section;
  4. On the Download screen, select Save to: Device and select Yes;
  5. Select Save;
  6. Download will commence;
  7. When prompted with "Do you want to accept "ImpaticaViewer.prc" into Applications?" Select Yes;
  8. Impatica Viewer will be installed to the Unfiled category of applications;
  Once the application is installed on your smartphone, it will appear on the home screen.

• Current Palm Smartphones with:
  • Palm OS 5
  • Bluetooth enabled.
  Software verified on 680p, 700p and 755p smartphones

Other Requirements

• Projector or other display with VGA input
• PC with Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista (32 bit) to perform firmware upgrades when necessary
